Full Description

1996: (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) metal detector find of bronze knife blade, 6.9cm long. Very corroded and damaged along the edges. Peaked hilt plate with one surviving rivet notch on one side, the other side is damaged. Blade slightly ridged. MBA, class 3 in Rowlands (R1) classification of dirks and rapiers. Sketch in file (S1).
Found within Rom scatter. Also Sax.
