Full Description

1993: Fieldwalking by Haverhill District Archaeological Group located `a diffuse thin field-scatter of prehistoric worked flint flakes', `along the northern boundary' of `field 36' (S1). In area of Medieval & Post Medieval green edge settlement.

Descriptions of flint finds are broad, dating to a specific period bracket is ill-advised. However, they may be later Prehistoric, based on context, (S2).

Site identified withing the desk based assessment and preliminary field walking of the route of Kirtling green to Wixoe Pipeline (S3).
