Full Description

Water mill shown S of Toppesfield Bridge on Hodskinson's map of 1783 (S1). Not shown on Bowen's 1755 map, although he does show a water mill to the N of the bridge (someone's mislocation?) - see HAD 052, not on OS 1st edition map. For other early references to mills in Hadleigh, see Misc.
Not shown on Kirby's map of 1736 (S2).
