Square moat, marked and labelled `moat' on OS 1st edition map (S1). Original Hall site?
Not shown on 1880s or later OS maps although within area marked as heath/rough land.
Same as possible moat visible on 1946 RAF AP? (note by K Sussams based on S2 - check).
