Full Description
Bridge, probably as shown on maps of 1575, 1610, 1755 & 1783 (S1-S4). Construction date and present condition or remains unknown.
Relocated on HBSMR maps from former incorrect plotting (as the Station Road bridge to S)(C Pendleton, 4 Nov 2010), although Hodskinson does appear to show the bridge as a ford somewhat to the S of the present Pickerel Bridge.
Architectural and documentary history need checking.
