Full Description

A possible Bronze Age round barrow, centred on TM 26244638, can be seen as the cropmark of a ring ditch on aerial photographs. Only part of the ring ditch is visible as it is cut by the modern road but the area it encloses could have a diameter of at least 16.5m. The size of the ring ditch and its proximity to another, larger ring ditch identified as a barrow, suggest that it may also be the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow. (S1-S2)
See MRM 087 for the other ring ditch to the west.
