Full Description

Following an evaluation of Clare fire station (S1), it was concluded that there was no archaeology within the site.
Pre PMed only service trences were identified. Apparently the entire site had been stripped to subsoil during the construction of the fire station (and the material `dumped in a pit at the bottom of the cemetery on the N side of the High Street')(S1).
