Full Description
Construction of farm reservoir - three site visits made during soil stripping. Scatter of Med and PMed pot sherds noted in north east corner of reservoir. All relatively small and abraded sherds. Details in (S1). Extensive PMed scatter (C17/C18) to C19/EC20) merging into ferry cottages site to east. Ferry cottages site is very clear as area of dark soil, and mass of building debris and C18/C19 sherds etc.
Possible site of `Jennies' (SUT 069) as latter area as marked on HER map has little evidence for settlement. See also Med.
