Full Description

Ancient woodland as defined in (S1).
For details of history and earthworks see (S1), the Suffolk Wildlife Trust, English Nature, the County Council Countryside Section and various Oliver Rackham works, including (S2).
Stephen Podd recorded a weak woodbank circa 1.8m wide and 0.3m high, more pronounced on the S & E sides, and a short, low bank to the pond in the NE corner (S3).
