Full Description
Polished flint axe with tapered butt, 160mm long x 62mm wide (at blade) x 23mm wide (at butt) x 32mm thick, weight 454gm.
Grey flint, fire damage and blackening on one side and partial blackening on other side (?recent). Polished all over but not sufficiently to remove the larger flake scars. Some chips on the blade. Sketch in file (S1).
Note: Two undated ring ditch cropmarks in same field - STT 020 & 021.
