Full Description
October 2000: Fieldwalking survey located multiperiod pottery scatter. These include 2 Preh sherds, 16 worked flints, 82 Rom sherds, 1 or 2 ESax sherds, 7 MSax Ipswich ware sherds, 8 Thetford ware sherds, 45 Med sherds, 32 PMed sherds and 34 Undated greyware (probably Rom, possibly Thetford or Med) and PMed CBM and clay pipes. Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2000 (S3).
