Full Description
TL 9225 6711 - TL 9247 6719 Large, circa 8 foot high, curving bank surviving to south of hollow way. Surviving boundary continues west but no bank. Also said to continue (after gap) as cropmark in field to north (centreing TL 925 677) and shown as boundary on 1884 - 1958 OS maps (centreing at TL 921 680). Possibly part of very large, circa 900m diameter, circular enclosure around Pakenham Manor, Upper Town & Pakenham Lodge.
Bank may, alternatively, be the NW boundary of Nether Hall estate (see PKM 042).
