Full Description
Stray find by metal detector of denarius with obverse of diademed head (?Venus) and reverse of two captives sited below trophy, inscribed ex CAESAR = Julius Caesar c.46-44 BC.
Similar coin found 100m away by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) in 1989 (see Misc).
