Full Description

The monitoring of footing excavations for a conservatory extension (including some hand digging) revealed Roman finds dating to the 1st century AD. Intact layer dfiscovered but no other features (S1).

Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2002 (S2)
