Full Description

Moat, inhabited, parts of two square compounds, occupied.

The contiguous remains of a probable rectangular double moated feature around Fiddlers Hall which appears Tudor in origin but
is externally modernised.

The arm remains are waterfilled, c 10.0m wide. Disturbed soil and a soil mark indicate the course of a further arm on the NW side of the farm buildings. A pond with a central island shown on the OS 25" SE of the house is possibly associated with the moats, but this is doubtful on ground evidence. A further pond E of this feature appears natural.
