Full Description
Possible mislocation - see Cavendish Misc - SF10411.
At Cavenham (Togrynd) there was a preceptory of the Knights Templars, ? at Temple Bridge. Date of foundation unknown but probably dissolved AD 1308-1312 (S1).
Redstone locates this at Cavendish - "From the public records of the suppression of the Order, it is seen that beside the House at Dunwich, there were Temples at Togrind (Jogrind or Twygrind is Barton Mills), near Cavendish [Cavenham], and at Icklingham" (S2).
For Temple Bridge location also see IKL Misc Med.
