Full Description

Partial remains of small moat with internal building in 1839. Field to the S. of site is named 'Moat Field' in the 1838/1839 Tithe map (S1). On 1880s OS map shown as small (c.12m x 22m) trapezoid moat with entrance to NW with arm of possible large extension to SW with external buildings to W and pond to N. Buildings now gone. Moat now apparently incomplete, but shown as complete on the Tithe map. (S2).
