Full Description

A small area (c.11m sq) to the rear of the property monitored during digging of strip foundations. A PMed brick-built well was partially revealed at the north-eastern edge of the site, which cut an homogeneous, undated, make-up/levelling deposit. This deposit was at least 0.72m thick but yielded no dateable finds. No clear evidence of medieval occupation or any sign of undisturbed natural subsoils was observed (S1).
