Fields (numbers 72 & 73) named Great & Little Castle Acre in tithe apportionment. Suggests possible monument - note adjoins cropmarks of irregular enclosure with ring ditch in centre (DEP 007 & 008). Used as airfield in 2nd WW, now mainly arable (S1).
