Full Description
Monitoring of builder's test pit revealed natural to be deeper than 2m. Only built-up ground seen. Poorly built well cut into by trench - constructed of peg tiles and occasional brick. Possibly an extension to a well that pre-dated the building up of levels. Did not appear to follow traditional well construction methods - very rough, would not have 'slid' through the ground - appeared to have been built and then material filled in around (S1).
