Full Description
2004: Monitoring revealed a pit at a depth of 55cm, it consisted of red/orange and black burnt sand with charcoal lumps and flecks c.10cm deep by 40cm wide. One sherd of c.16th century pottery and some oyster shell was found within it. The pit may possibly be evidence of some late medieval activity in the area (S1).
