Full Description

August 2003: Cutting of strip foundations for two dwellings and a garage revealed a single rubbish pit of high Med date.This yielded pottery of C13-C14 date. Although the site lay on the projected line of the Med green edge, no evidence of this was recorded. Elsewhere a uniform 0.3mm thick topsoil was observed overlying natural clay deposits (S1).
