Full Description
February 2003: One large late medieval pit (approx 2.5 x 2 x 2.8m) containing medieval and late medieval pottery & peg tile, was located while monitoring three footing trenches 1.25m square. A post-medieval/modern well and possible cess pit were also recorded. The well predates the Victorian additions to the rear of the property and both features may be associated with or predate the original Georgian construction of the property (S1).
