Full Description

Neolithic worked flint scatters (and Roman pottery) found 2004. 1 smallish blade core and scatter of 19 blades and flakes, mainly black flint, of probable Neolithic date found in area of roughly 100m (E-W) by 30m (N-S). Stripped of turf (& weathered). Rapid walk over. Finds left in situ from gery sandy soil overlying sand. S edge of stripped area more peaty. S1
