Full Description

1988/1989: Dense scatter of peg tile in North East corner of field. Very little domestic rubbish - virtually no pottery, clay pipe frags or ironwork. General scatter over whole field also including flint flakes and 8 sherds medieval pottery, (S1).

Descriptions of flint finds are broad, dating to a specific period bracket is ill-advised. However, they may be later Prehistoric, based on details of discovery, (S2).
