Full Description

2002: Fieldwalking scatter of 198 worked flints, mainly probably of Middle Bronze Age date. Details in (S1). Includes one rolled Palaeolithic(?) flake, a few mesolithic and Neolithic flints (mainly re-utilised) and assemblage, which could be Early Bronze Age but more likely to be early in Middle Bronze Age.

Note: Field includes Late Iron Age & Roman metal detector finds (COL 016) and numerous Portable Antiquities (mainly Med & Pmed coins and tokens).
