Full Description

Monitoring of topsoil removal during reservoir excavation revealed a concentration of shallow pits with charcoal and fire cracked flints, characteristic of the Bronze Age. Also various undated linear features were seen. The burnt pits will hopefully be radiocarbon dated - further details awaited. (S1)
