Full Description

Site of a watermill said to have been 'in decay' and mill pond stagnant by 1580. Under the tenement of Earls Hall. 'Sited near the present Ivy Cottage' (exact location and details need checking) (S1, S2).
Note: a winter mill was recorded at Cockfield in the Domesday Survey.
