Full Description

'Warren Lodge' shown within square enclosure east of railway station (south of Old Station Road) & SW of 'Warren Hill' & Warrenhill Plantation on 1880s OS map (S1). Under new housing by circa 1975 (S1).
Extent of former warren unknown (probably largely over Cambridgeshire county boundary) but early maps not checked.
Possibly originating as Medieval Warrener's Lodge (documentary research needed), though clearly forming substantial house by 19th century.
