Full Description

1980 publication (R1) 'refers to an 1852 reference (R2) to Newson Garrett, who built Alde House, Aldeborough, for his wife and ten children, complete with an ice house and Turkish bath. The estate has been built over and there is no evidence of an extant ice-house.' (S1) NGR correct for Alde House only. Ice house not on OS 1880's map, presumably in park to West.
