Full Description

Site of excavation, believed to have been by the British museum, in the 1940s or 1950s (according to land owner), within spinney at cited NGR.
Within area of Roman finds (see KDG 011). There does not appear to be a record of this excavation though evidence of the work is still visible within the spinney (S1).
