Full Description

Two smallish fragments of (same?) quernstone found together on edge of field (beside public footpath). Concave ground face (probably saddle quern), otherwise unworked edges. Fine grained (lime?) stone. Probably Later prehistoric. Left in situ.
Note: Later Bronze Age 'tress ring' from same field - see SPL 015.
