Full Description

Evaluation revealed two undated burnt pits,a standing earthwork comprising a bank and ditch in the wooded north east corner of the site, documentary evidence suggests that this is the boundary of a wood which was establised by 1723, but probably has earlier origins, also a single sherd of abraided medieval pottery was found (S1).
