Full Description
Road described as alternative route for Peddars Way prior to 1671 per W G Clarke; also described as conjectured course of Peddars Way from America Lodge prior to 1671 per W G Clarke.
At TL 9341 is a note "Point where Peddars Way was blocked by Act of Parliament in 1671". At TL 9338 7730 is a note "Row of trees. ? an old road". At TL 935 768 is a gap in the conjectured route due to non-alignment of 6" OS maps SAU references 12 and 15 (S1). See also Un.
