Full Description

Three sides of substantial rectangular moat to S with larger possible moated area to N plus various ponds to SE shown on 1880s OS map. Jacob's Hall, Listed Building (GRII) of CI5/CI6 date in centre of larger area. The building is shown in profile on Hodskinson's 1783 map (S1).
Southern moat survives, Northern area partly infilled (according to mapping).
