June-July 2007: trenched evaluation and monitoring of footing trenches revealed an amount of disturbance but also 3 ditches (2 recentish, 1 large with Iron Age pot, and Medieval pottery in upper fills).

Full Description

June-July 2007: trenched evaluation and monitoring of footing trenches revealed an amount of disturbance but also 3 ditches (2 recentish, 1 large with Iron Age pot, and Med pottery in upper fills). Also prehistoric and late 17th century finds from topsoil. Details in (S1).
Note - large Iron Age enclosure and Medieval features to North West (IPS 504) and Medieval church of Whitton (IPS 111) circa 120m to the West.
