Full Description
Small Smock Mill, moved from Cransford circa 1890 and set up as a power mill. Now disused, it has two pairs of stones (S1). Now gone?
Also a post mill with a roundhouse, built 1802/4 and dismantled circa 1957, in same plot (S2). The latter ceased work in 1938. The roundhouse remains as a store. There were four patent sails, two pairs of stones in the head and a fantail (S1).
The latter is still standing, condition unknown but with adjoining building suggesting conversion to dwelling.
