Full Description

Possible moat on north and east sides of Elm Hall, formerly Elm Farm, with possible extensions to south-west on OS 1880s map. North and east sides possibly curve around the 15th-16th century listed Elm Farmhouse, while the south-west side runs due west away from the building, which could indicate a considerable area surrounded by the moat. Slightly better survival is portrayed on the tithe map.
There is a possible moat around Stansfield Hall (STF 014) to the south-east.
