Full Description
An L-shaped ditched earthwork visible on OS maps between the 1880s and 1920s but no longer shown. It is possibly the remains of the north and upper east sides of a former enclosure or moat. The site is situated close to the church (TUL 009) and medieval pottery scatters (TUL 005 and 007 - multiperiod site). A listed 17th century timber-framed house is located to the south-west and the two may have been associated (S1). Part of the west side is possibly visible on a c.1946 RAF AP, but the area to the south is under allotment gardens and so is not visible.
