Full Description
An archaeological evaluation was carried out on land at Beaumont Chapel, Chapel Street, Woodbridge prior to the erection of new housing and the conversion of the former chapel to a dwelling. A single trench was excavated across the location of the proposed new building on the 11th June 2009, and only modern features were encountered. The stratigraphy seen was suggestive of significant terracing towards the rear of this area (S1).
