Full Description
Possible moated house and outbuildings, shown on map of 1729 and the 1838 tithe map. An L-shaped body of water is located to the south-east of the main house, suggesting that it may have been a moated site. The house and outbuildings are still extant (though not Listed!), but the possible moat is not shown on the modern map.
The Nicolas Hayward map shows the whole estate owned by James Sturgeons and occupied by Thomas Tredgett and called 'Coopers' (S2).
