Full Description
Site of Domesday chapel at Whitton. Probably on two pieces of glebe land on field called "Barnes" on 1723 map. Recorded as rectory of Barnes in late 16th/early 17th century documents (of Withipool family. Christchurch mansion). Roughly on site of present Thomas Wolsey school.
