Full Description

Monitoring of ground works for a new house on a plot some 70m south of the western end of The Thoroughfare revealed a single pit of 16th century date (S1).
'Corn mill' marked on O.S 1880s map, extended on 1900s O.S map, now named Quayside mill (S2)

Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2011 (S3)
