Full Description

An archaeological evaluation was carried out on off of The Street, Badwell Ash in advance of the creation of a wildlife pond in an area within the floodplain of a tributary of The Black Bourne. No archaeological deposits were identified, the trench instead demonstrating the presence of a sequence of natural environmental deposits which may have future potential for palaeoenvironmental studies (S1).
