Full Description
A continuous monitoring was carried out during the excavation of cable trenches in the carpark of Shire Hall, Bury St Edmunds. The continuation of the southern precinct wall of Bury Abbey and two probable 19th century garden walls were found. All of these walls had what is believed to be worked garden soil built up around them (S1).
