Full Description

Monitoring of ground works for a detached outbuilding on the northern edge of The Common recorded two large pits which can be dated to the late medieval and late medieval/early Post medieval periods respectively on the evidence of the pottery sherds that were recovered (S1).

Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2011 (S2).
