Full Description

Type 28 anti-tank gun emplacement pillbox (S1). Part of WGN 040.

Near Jude's Ferry Bridge, West Row, some 100m E of 'Sunny Nook' (bungalow) on track Judes Ferry to Church Farm, Worlington. Type 28 pillbox, which may be modified type 26 with thick walls. Mounting bolts at main embrasure. Only the main embrasure at the front and no internal wall. Doorway faces S. Brick external shuttering; concrete roof and embrasure surrounds (S2).
