Full Description

Type 24 pillbox (S1). Part of WGN 040.

Immediately S of the River Lark, some 200m SW of Judes Ferry Bridge, West Row - W of the Judes Ferry to Fourways road. Standard type 24 pillbox. Top of concrete raft now c. 0.5m above ground level due to peat shrinkage. Brick anti-ricochet wall. Door faces S (S2).
