Summary

Small type 22 pillbox, half covered in thick ivy. Unprotected entrance with no rifle embrasure adjacent. Appears to have an internal blast wall. Embrasures are smaller than those on the neighbouring pillbox to the E, which has letter-box shaped embrasures.

Full Description

At NW corner of Stowlangtoft Spinney, on opposite side of road, NW corner of the junction of the A1088 road and the Pakenham-Stowlangtoft road - 700m W of Stowlangtoft Church.
[with site location map on SRF]. Small type 22 pillbox, half covered in thick ivy. Unprotected entrance with no rifle embrasure adjacent. Appears to have an internal blast wall. Embrasures are smaller than those on the neighbouring pillbox to the E, which has letter-box shaped embrasures.
