On common at Barking Tye village, on B1078 road, 3.5 miles SW of Needham Market. Type 22 pillbox. Of crude construction, with separate rear blast wall outside with corresponding embrasure to one in L/H rear face of pillbox. Blast wall approx. 1.8m high x 2m long x 0.2m thick (S1).
